      Narrator Carly Robbins draws the listener into the romance that develops between hairstylist Ashlynn and firefighter Reid in the small town of Sweetbriar Ridge. They knew each other in school and reconnect when Reid returns to town. Ashlynn has been fired from her job. When her former salon burns to the ground, her relationship with Reid becomes complicated, and she is accused of arson. Robbins exudes all of Ashlynn's frustration and worry as the allegations arise. Robbins smoothly transitions among the characters, giving Ashlynn's sister a sweet vocal tone that contrasts with Ashlynn's more forceful personality. Robbins's performance enhances the listening experience as she uses her voice to capture the tension surrounding the fire and the passion between Ashlynn and Reid.
