PreS-Using illustrations from the original Curious George series (Houghton Mifflin), the publisher has produced two very nice board books, translated into a neutral and accessible Spanish appropriate for younger audiences. In Curious George and the Bunny, the lovable monkey is featured in a problem-solving story. George cannot resist approaching a cage full of bunnies and taking one out to pet. When one escapes and runs away, George must devise a way to find him and bring him back to his mother. In Curious George's Opposites, there is no story, rather a series of scenes featuring the mischievous monkey that illustrate concepts, such as up, down; in front, behind; dry, wet; and so forth. Recommended for bookstores and libraries serving preschoolers.Maria Otero-Boisvert, "Criticas"
