Caleb and Evie have been friends since they can remember, and with college approaching, Caleb feels the pressure to tell Evie he loves her. But when transfer student Leo shows up and steals Evie away, Caleb has to play a painful waiting game. Cottle and Mondelli expertly present these angsty characters. Each character's narration is so personal that listeners will feel they have an intimate relationship with them, as well as with some of the supporting cast.
